Can I Make Deletions Myself or is it all Hands Off?

Whether you have an Essentials, Pro, or Free License (Signature Services Licenses are handled by the Signature Services Team), you always have the option to take removals into your own hands if you would like, using our complimentary Data Deletion Guides, which can be accessed for each exposure found on your dashboard. With a Free Account, we provide a scan to find your exposures, but the power to remove them lies in your hands. When you upgrade to a Pro License, we handle the removal process for you! However, you still have the power to take the deletion process into your own hands, whether you have a Free, Essentials, or Pro License.


When you upgrade, please complete your profile so we can accurately identify your online exposures. Please consider signing the Limited Power of Attorney (LPoA) so we can let companies know that we're your Authorized Agent acting on your behalf for data removal requests. You can retract the Limited Power of Attorney (LPoA) at any time. After your profile is completed, we can initiate the deletion process, moving the exposures from "Pending" to "In Progress" and then into "Closed" as we complete the removal process. To delete an item still in the "Pending" section on the Excruciating Detail page, type the company name into the search bar in the top left corner, tap the Deletion Guide tab, and scroll down the page to find the Opt-Out Instructions. Then, follow the steps.
