Does Privacy Bee Have Full Access To My Gmail Account?
Just to clarify, Google updated its IMAP policies, and the optional Gmail Inbox Scan does require giving Privacy Bee full access to your Gmail inbox. That said, please rest assured: no one here is reading anyone's inbox, and we can't see anyone's Gmail Inbox Scan results. Only the scans from our own personally paid licenses are visible to us.
The optional Gmail Inbox Scan feature can be discontinued at any time! Just click on the Gmail Inbox Scan page on the left nav bar and tap the grayscale "Disconnect" button on the right side of the page. That's it!
