How do I Submit a Custom Deletion Request?

It's easy to submit a Custom Deletion Request from your Dashboard! However, **not all companies are classified as Data Brokers and People Search Sites. For those that aren't, Privacy Bee allows you to submit a **Custom Deletion Request, so our team can handle it on your behalf.


Follow these simple steps:


  • Go to the Excruciating Detail page in your Dashboard.
  • In the Search Companies bar, type the name of the company you want your data removed from. (You can also use the Companies page located on the left navigation bar.)
  • Click on the company name from the results list.
  • Select the blue "Confirm" button for Privacy Bee to send a data deletion request.



You will see screenshots similar to the ones below. We're using Macy's as an example.

If you're using the Companies page, just type the company name in the search bar and click its name to submit a Custom Deletion Request. Next, tap the "Delete My Data" button to begin a manual deletion request. You will see a screenshot similar to the one below.

Once submitted, our Global Response Team will take care of the deletion request for you as part of your active license. Please use our mascot, Orwell, (in the lower right corner of our website or when logged into your license) to contact our friendly Customer Support Team.
