How do I Update my Identity Vault?

Updating your Identity Vault is quick and straightforward. You can easily change your name, physical address, email address, phone number, or birthday at any time.

Your date of birth (DOB) plays a vital role in identity verification. Update your DOB only if it was entered incorrectly.

Where to Update Your Information

Go to the Identity Vault from the left navigation bar.
Under the “Add a Record" section, select the box that matches the information you want to update:

Name
Present and Previous Physical Address
Active Email Address
Working Phone Number

Enter the new or updated information.
Verify when prompted (verification is required for active email addresses and working phone numbers).
Click the blue button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Adding alternate names (such as nicknames, maiden names, or common misspellings) helps our scans find more of your online exposures.

Editing or Removing Existing Information

You can manage existing records directly within your Identity Vault:

Click the three dots (⋮) next to any saved item
Choose one of the following options:

Edit the information
Remove the record
Set Primary to mark it as your main contact or address

Setting a record as Primary helps Privacy Bee prioritize the most accurate information during scans and removal requests.
