How Does Gmail Inbox Scan Work?

Another benefit of being a Pro license holder is our Inbox Scan function!

Spam email is one of the most frustrating parts of having an email address. It's hard to pick through what's real and what's just spam, especially when things that aren't spam are also being sent to your spam inbox. Our inbox scan is engineered to help make managing what emails you get just a bit easier.

When you click on Gmail Inbox Scan, the screen below appears with options for your email provider.

We only offer compatibility for Gmail today, but we are working to add Outlook and Yahoo Mail compatibility in the future! When you click "Gmail," there will be a pop-up that will send you through the following steps to set up your email with our inbox scan:

Follow each step below the numbers as closely as possible; if the steps are not followed correctly, it can cause scanning problems. After you have filled out your email, followed the steps, and placed in the password, click "Start Scan" and get going!

After you start the scan, you are all set! The screen below will appear. Initially, nothing will be in the two main boxes as it has only done one scan. Eventually, businesses will populate and allow you to set their relationship as Trusted or Untrusted. Along the right side, you can see the pie graph of the distribution of your emails, the email connected, more all-time stats, the last scan completed, and the following scheduled scan.

Along the right side, you can view a pie chart showing the distribution of your emails, which email addresses are connected, and more all-time statistics. You can also see when the last scan was completed, and the next one is scheduled to run. This feature provides an easy way to keep track of your inbox and maintain control over your emails.

Keep your inbox safe with ease, Untrusting companies that spam you and Trusting companies you want to get emails from!
