When will my Risk Score Improve/Change?

The Privacy Risk Score on your dashboard may fluctuate, remain consistent, or even increase at times. We aim to lower your score as much as possible, but there will always be sources that will hold your information, such as legally public information like marriage licenses.

Your score can increase as we add more Data Brokers to our database or as our team of privacy professionals identifies and addresses new or re-exposed exposures. Conversely, it may remain static for several reasons. For example, we may discover more vulnerabilities while successfully removing information, or certain data brokers and websites from which we request information removal are incredibly difficult and prevent movement or progress for several months.

Even if you notice no change, or even an increase, know that we are actively working behind the scenes to protect your privacy. While your score will never be zero, we are committed to reducing it as much as possible and continuously safeguarding your personal information.
