Why do I Have to Complete my Identity Vault?

Complete Your Identity Vault to Improve Scan Results

To help Privacy Bee find and reduce your online vulnerabilities, we strongly recommend completing your Identity Vault as thoroughly as possible.

Many People Search Sites and Data Brokers may still associate your personal information with older addresses or prior names. Adding that information helps our scans detect more exposures and helps our Global Response Team confirm that the exposure belongs to you.

What Information Should I Add?

The following details can significantly improve scan coverage and removal success:

  • Middle name and/or initials
  • Previous physical addresses (from the past few years)
  • Active email addresses
  • Birth date
  • Working phone number(s)

Why this matters:

The more accurate your details are, the easier it is to match your identity and reduce the risk of confusion with someone with a similar name.

Previous Addresses Matter:

Even if you've moved, your personal information may still appear online under old locations. Adding prior addresses often helps Privacy Bee identify exposures that may not be connected to your current address.
