How to Delete Your Account

If you'd like to permanently remove your Privacy Bee account this article explains what you need to know before deleting and walks you through the steps.


Before You Delete


Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Before proceeding make sure you have considered the following:


  • If you have an active paid license deleting your account will end your protection and any in progress removal work
  • If you are within the 30-day money-back guarantee period consider requesting a refund before deleting — see Privacy Bee's Refund Policy and How to Request a Refund for steps
  • Once your account is deleted your removal history and profile data will no longer be accessible


How to Delete Your Account


  • Log in to your Privacy Bee account
  • From your left navigation bar select Account Settings
  • Click the Account Security tab
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the red Delete Account button
  • Click Confirm to permanently delete your account



What if I Have an Incomplete Account?


If you entered your email address during a Free Scan Only signup but never completed the account setup, you may still be receiving emails from Privacy Bee. To stop these emails, you'll need to delete the account that was automatically created.


Follow the same steps above using the email address that received the messages.
