Privacy Bee's Refund Policy & How to Request a Refund

Privacy Bee wants you to feel confident in your subscription. This article explains our refund policy and walks you through how to request one if needed.
Refund Policy by License Type
Free Scan Only Account - Free accounts are not charged so there is nothing to refund. If you would like to delete your Free account see How to Delete Your Account for steps.
Essentials and Pro Licenses - Essentials and Pro licenses come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied for any reason within the first 30 days of your subscription you can self-refund directly from your account - no questions asked.
Signature Services License - Signature Services licenses are annual subscriptions and are non-refundable. These licenses involve significant upfront resources and personalized hands-on support which is why they fall outside our standard refund policy. If you have questions about your Signature Services subscription, please reach out to Orwell and our support team.
How to Request a Refund
Refunds for Essentials and Pro licenses can be self-processed directly from your account within the 30-day guarantee period:
- From your left navigation bar select Account Settings
- Click the Billing tab
- Click the three dot menu next to your license
- Select Refund License - the button will turn red
- A pop-up window will open to begin the refund process
In the pop-up:
- Step 1 - Select your reason for cancellation
- Step 2 - Check the confirmation boxes and click Continue
- Step 3 - Select No Thanks and click Continue
- Step 4 - Choose Full Refund and click the red Submit Refund Request button
Once completed you will see a confirmation that your refund has been processed successfully.
