Privacy Bee scans run automatically based on your license tier. This article explains how often scans occur for each plan so you know what to expect.


Scan Frequency by License


  • Free Scan Only Account - One scan at account creation. No ongoing monitoring is included.
  • Essentials License - Scans run once every 30 days starting from the date your account was created
  • Pro License - Scans run once every 30 days starting from the date your account was created
  • Signature Services License - Scans run every 7 days starting from the date your account was created


Why Does Scan Frequency Matter?


More frequent scans mean Privacy Bee can detect new exposures and re-exposures faster - and take action sooner. If your information reappears on a data broker site after being removed, Privacy Bee will detect it on the next scheduled scan and begin the removal process again automatically.


Can I Trigger a Scan Manually?


If you need a specific removal prioritized before your next scheduled scan you can message Orwell directly with the company name and URL. Our support team will help prioritize the request on your behalf.
