Privacy Bee helps reduce spam calls and emails over time by addressing one of the root causes: the places where your personal information is exposed, shared, or sold.
We do not directly block spam calls or emails. Instead, we work to reduce your digital footprint by requesting the removal of your personal information from data brokers, people search sites, and other sources that may make your information easier to find.
Spam may not stop right away because personal information can spread quickly. Once your phone number or email address is added to a marketing list, broker database, or spam source, it may be copied, sold, shared, or reused by multiple parties. There usually is not one single list we can remove you from to stop every unwanted call or email immediately.
If you are receiving spam from a legitimate company, you can submit a Custom Deletion Request, and Privacy Bee can reach out on your behalf to request the removal of your personal information from their database, where applicable.
For spam that feels abusive, involves robocalls, spoofing, or may violate telemarketing rules, you may also consider filing a complaint directly with the FCC.
Privacy Bee cannot guarantee that spam will stop completely, but reducing the number of places where your personal information is exposed can help lower the chances of it being used for unwanted outreach over time.
