Overview
Your Privacy Bee subscription has a renewal date, and you can turn auto-renewal on or off at any time for more control over your renewals. This article covers where to find your renewal date and the auto-renew setting, how to disable it, what happens afterward, and the reminder emails you can expect.
Finding your Billing page
There are two ways to get there from your dashboard:
- From the side panel: Click Account Settings in the left navigation bar, then click the Billing tab.
- From your profile menu: Click your name in the top right corner to expand the menu, then click Account Billing. This takes you straight to Billing.
Checking your renewal date
On the Billing page, your license is listed by name. The renewal date appears on the same line as your license.
How to disable auto-renewal
- Locate your active subscription and click the More Options button, shown as three small vertical dots at the end of the line.
- Select Disable Auto-Renewal.
- You will receive a confirmation message once auto-renewal has been successfully disabled.
If you change your mind, return to the Billing tab at any time before your subscription ends and select Enable Auto-Renewal.
What happens after you disable auto-renewal
- You keep full access to all features of your current license until your billing cycle ends.
- Disabling auto-renewal does not cancel your license immediately. Your protection continues until the end of your current billing period.
- If you want to cancel your license entirely, see the Refunds & Account Closure section for your options.
About renewal reminder emails
Leading up to your renewal date, we send a series of reminder emails so the date never catches you off guard. These are reminders only, not separate charges. You can review your renewal date and auto-renew setting at any time from the Billing page.
