Why isn't my verification code working?


If you're not receiving your verification code or it isn't being accepted, here are the most common causes and how to fix them:


  1. Check your spam or junk folder - Verification codes are sent from @privacybee.com. If you haven't already, add this domain to your safe sender list to make sure future emails land in your inbox.
  2. Two-factor authentication (2FA) - If you have 2FA enabled on your account you will need to complete that verification step before accessing certain features - including signing your Limited Power of Attorney. Make sure you have access to the device or email address associated with your 2FA before starting.
  3. Using an inactive or inaccessible email address - Privacy Bee can only send verification codes to email addresses you currently have access to. If you added an old or inactive email address to your Identity Vault, verification codes sent to that address cannot be retrieved. Only add email addresses you actively use and can access.

How do I log out?


  • From your dashboard click your profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen
  • Select Log Out from the dropdown menu
